 Craig is an attorney in the corporate division of Grefe & Sidney, P.L.C. His practice includes estate planning; trusts and estates; real estate, corporate law, and taxation. He has satisfied the requirements of the Iowa Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education in meeting the practice designation of "Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Probate Law" since the Court allowed such designations in Iowa.
Craig represents many individuals, families and small businesses for whom he provides assistance in a variety of legal matters. Having been in practice since 1978, he has many long-term clients with whom he has developed a relationship of trust and confidence. His goal is to help his clients resolve legal challenges efficiently and effectively, or to help them make decisions which will avoid such problems before they arise. Many clients utilize his services in a variety of practice areas.
Craig received his preparatory education at Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1975. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1978 from Drake University Law School, Des Moines, Iowa. While in law school, Craig was a County Attorney summer intern, served in the Legal Aid program, and clerked for an Iowa District Court Judge. He joined the law firm of Grefe & Sidney, P.L.C. in 1978.
Professional organizations of which Craig is a member include the Iowa State Bar Association, the Polk County Bar Association, the Iowa Trust Association, and an Estate & Financial Planners group. He is also a member of Lincoln Inne, a weekly meeting of attorneys interested in various aspects of the law and the legal profession, and of the Christian Legal Society.
Volunteer affiliations include serving on the Board of Pella Christian High School; Board of Pella Christian Grade School; Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dordt College Foundation; and Pella Leave a Legacy.
Craig is married, has five children, and lives in Pella. He spends one day a week at the firm's branch office in Pella.
