Stella Maris Strohman is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation division, where she represents clients across a range of civil litigation matters.
While in law school, Stella Maris interned with both the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa State Education Association, earning a legislative practice certificate in recognition of her legislative advocacy experience. She also competed on Drake Law School’s Negotiations Team and was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.
Before entering law practice, Stella Maris was a Division I student‑athlete at Iowa State University, where she played collegiate soccer and served as a team captain. Her background as a high‑level athlete reflects her discipline, teamwork, and leadership—qualities she brings to her litigation practice.
Stella Maris has first‑chair jury trial experience, having taken an active lead role in trial strategy, witness examination, and courtroom advocacy. She also handles appellate matters and has presented oral argument before the Iowa Court of Appeals.
She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Polk County Women Attorneys.
