Nadia Valentine is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation division.
While in law school, Nadia was Captain of the National Moot Court Team. She was recognized by the Justices of the Iowa Supreme Court, who selected her as the recipient of the Rodney L. Hudson Appellate Advocacy award. She later went on to receive the Jeffrey and Elizabeth Goodman Distinguished Advocate Award for excellence in client representation and advocacy.
Nadia was a student attorney in the Drake Legal Clinic’s criminal defense practice. She also interned with the Juvenile Public Defender and the Federal Public Defender. Nadia earned certificates in both Public Service and Social Justice and Public Interest law for her dedication to indigent client defense.
Before attending law school, Nadia was a co-host on a Des Moines-based morning radio program for five years. She enjoys acting and voiceover work, having appeared in several commercials and business ads.
