Riley Coy is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he received his J.D. and M.B.A. While earning his degree, Riley was Associate Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review. He also participated in the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and the Board of Advocates. Riley had the unique opportunity to work as a student attorney with the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, guiding start-ups from concept to capitalization. Riley completed an externship with the Honorable Stephanie Rose of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
Riley is a member of the Polk County Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He was recently published for his work on Opportunity Zones – a tax incentive created as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
