Craig Shannon’s Retirement

Posted on: December 6th, 2021

It is with our appreciation and best wishes that we announce that Craig Shannon is retiring at the end of 2021, after practicing law at Grefe & Sidney for more than 43 years.
Since 1978, Craig has served the Iowa bar and clients with his sage advice, knowledge, and expertise, building long-term relationships with many clients. Craig has been active in his hometown of Pella, Iowa, serving on the Board of Directors for Pella Christian High School and Grade School. His high ethical standards led him to be nominated by the Iowa Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Iowa Supreme Court Grievance Commission. He has also served on the boards of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dordt College Foundation, and Pella Leave a Legacy.

Craig will limit the representation of new clients for the balance of the year but will continue to assist current clients. Upon his retirement Attorney Heather Timmins will be available to represent Craig’s clients in the Des Moines office and Attorney Jonathan De Reus will do so in the Pella office.
